By Gioachino Rossini

Le Cenerentola. A much-loved fairy tale but not quite as you know it. Cinderella scrubs the floor of a dance school and dreams of a better life. A prince arrives seeking a companion and so this sparkling romcom is set in motion…. Cinderella’s stepfather Don Magnifico, and the Prince’s servant Dandini are marvellous comic creations. Cinderella herself emerges as a true romantic heroine whose transformation is achieved not by magic, but through the power of music. An evening of pure magic is in store, uniting the fun, fire and brilliance of Rossini’s music with a fresh and witty production.

Sung in Italian with English titles.

Audio Described performance 2pm, touch tour 12.45pm.
