Join Gary Lintern, astronomer and astrophotographer, to see some of the highlights of the spring sky in the Southern Hemisphere, live from the Australian Outback. Using a feed from a remote observatory, we will observe and photograph a number of objects which are only visible at the other end of the Earth, or which look different to how we see them in the UK.
- Date: Sunday 27 October 2019, 1.30 to 3.30pm
- Venue: Durham Dales Centre, Stanhope (DL13 2FJ)
- Booking: Pre-booking essential via Bookeo
- Cost: £25 per person
This event is part of the North Pennines Stargazing Festival running from 23 October to 3 November 2019.
