The Refectory Library
A rare chance to view a selection of manuscripts and printed books, dating from the 14th century onwards, which explore Christmas traditions both ancient and modern. Take the opportunity to discover more about the worship, music, food and general merriment that marks the celebration of Christmas each year, in the stunning surroundings of Durham Cathedral’s Refectory Library.
Tickets: £5 (£4.50 concessions) available from the Durham World Heritage Site Visitor Centre 0191 334 3805. Tickets can be bought in advance or on the day, subject to availability.
