Join Durham Cathedral for a service of special readings and music sung by Durham Cathedral Choir on the eve of the centenary of the Battle of the Somme.

This special service will be an opportunity to remember the sacrifice of all those involved, in particular the soldiers of the Durham Light Infantry. Of the 15,000 soldiers of the Durham Light Infantry who fought on the Somme, over half were wounded, killed, or reported missing.
