The Little Fawn – by Sokobauno Puppet Theatre is a wonderful, travelling puppet theatre: a 1950s Cheltenham Fawn caravan, magically transformed into a unique performance space for children and their families

As part of Newcastle’s Moving Parts puppetry festival, the caravan stops off at the Great North Museum for seven special performances of A Weasel in Love.

“Mauro the weasel is unlucky in love. He has to dust himself down and pick himself up after his one-time sweetheart breaks the bad news. He becomes entangled in a quirky radio phone-in, prepares a disastrous meal for an unexpected guest but finds some solace in his old toy box.

“A very furry story, with muppet puppets and music from a French toy orchestra.”

Suitable for ages 5+. Performances last 20 minutes.

This event has been organised by Moving Parts. Tickets must be booked online in advance. Unfortunately, the caravan is not fully accessible. If you have any questions relating to these performances, please contact info@newcastlepuppetryfestival.co.uk
