The Sacred and the Profane will take place at dusk on Palace Green. Expect Renaissance courtiers, dancing skeletons, and a torchlit procession of the traditional Boy Bishop of Durham. A stage dragon and early music will provide further entertainment.
A free event – no need to book.
Part of Theatrum Mundi, an international theatre festival celebrating the dramatic heritage of the North-East and Durham, from 7-12 July 2016.
