Based on the memoir of Maria von Trapp, this family favourite has never lost its appeal. Set in 1930s Austria, Maria is thrust into becoming a Governess for a large family while she decides whether or not to become a nun. She falls in love with the six children and their widowed father, Captain von Trapp, eventually fleeing their beloved Austria to escape Nazi rule. Featuring classic hits such as Edelweiss, My Favourite Things, Do-Re-Mi and Climb Every Mountain this wonderful and heartwarming show is not to be missed.
