Join us for a screening of this popular ’70s horror film. When 12 year old Rowan Morrison (Geraldine Cowper) goes missing on the Scottish island of Summerisle, the staunchly Christian policeman Neil Howie (Edward Woodward) is sent to investigate. The islanders led by Lord Summerisle (Christopher Lee) have something sinister in mind.

Doors are 6pm with the film starting at 6:30pm.

Open 7-days per week from 10am until 5pm, you can visit the family-friendly historic attraction, located in Newcastle city centre, to reveal the story of how Newcastle began, the reason the City got its name and to walk in the steps of the people who lived and died in the shadow of Newcastle Castle. Steeped in history this imposing Norman fortress, is a rugged reminder of Northern England’s turbulent history.

Please note:

This film screening takes place in the Great Hall of Newcastle Castle Keep which is unfortunately inaccessible to wheelchair users.. Doors will open at approximately 6pm, with the film starting at 6.30pm.
