A guided walk looking at the House and the family from a different perspective. How did this unique and very unusual Victorian mansion develop as it did – an evolution rather than a plan? Hear the interesting and unexpected stories of the “other” Lord Armstongs and their impact upon Cragside. What happened to the first Lord’s art collection? Why must we not “throng” the kitchen? What is the reward for a ten minute lecture on electricity? Come and find out.

Children over 11 welcome.

Unfortunately dogs are not welcome at this event.
