Redesign your clothes with electronics to make your Steampunk outfit stand out from the crowd. Our skilled inventors will show you the ropes on the sewing machine and the soldering iron.
No previous experience necessary. All you need to bring is an item of clothing to enhance, we suggest smart hats, headbands, gloves, waistcoats, jackets or even a bow tie and we will provide all of the lace, ribbons, cogs and curiosities.
Learn all about Steampunk costume design and create some wearable technology to take home.
This event is part of Play + Invent, Discovery Museum’s new family programme for budding inventors, designers and makers!
