THE THEATRE: Sunderland College – Bede Campus, Durham Road, Sunderland

A funny and poignant poetic monologue about the British relationship between class and politics, told through one extraordinary friendship.

It’s twenty years since Johnny Bevan set Nick’s world alight in a political awakening, but as a disillusioned journalist that has fallen out of love with London, he seeks to reconnect with his lost mate.

As their youthful dreams disintegrate with the politics they’d hoped for, can Nick find Johnny in time to save him from himself?

“…a pulsating piece of poetic storytelling…” The Guardian
