Boiler Shop

The Boiler Shop was constructed in the 1820s for the Robert Stephenson & Co. Locomotive Works. Rich in engineering history and architectural interest, it is Grade II listed.
Perfect for ambitious, memorable corporate events and a wide range of culture and arts uses; hosting some of the city’s most prestigious and lively gatherings, performances and exhibitions.
A brilliant space for socialising, it has gained national acclaim and proved extremely popular with Urban Night Feast, the Eat festivals and our regular Steamer events; with excellent street food and drink, live music and DJs, creating a great atmosphere appealing to all ages and backgrounds.
