RAMSIDE HALL HOTEL CREATES ITS OWN LOVE NEST…

Multi-award-winning Ramside Hall Hotel, Golf and Spa, at County Durham, has unveiled Dove – the latest in a flock of treehouses within its 350-acre grounds, overlooking its championship Prince Bishops golf course.

 

And early birds keen to secure the wedding date of their dreams are invited to view the venue at a special wedding open evening on Thursday 8 September, from 5pm to 7pm.

 

Along with the chance to view the treehouse, which has floor-to-ceiling windows, a wraparound balcony, roll top copper bath and log burning stove – couples will be able to find out more about the venue’s 2023 wedding package.

 

Dove – designed to the same high standards as the other three large treehouses- can accommodate up to 40 guests for a wedding ceremony, followed by reception drinks on the terrace.

 

A three course wedding breakfast, served at tables dressed in white linens and with sashes on the chairs to compliment the colour scheme, are also part of the package.

 

The deal includes the hotel’s sommelier’s choice of wines and overnight accommodation in Dove – complete with hot tub – for the bridal couple, as well as spa access for them the following day.

 

The midweek packages start from £2650, with weekends from £3050, both based on a minimum of ten guests.

Dove is one of Ramside’s four larger treehouses, which each have three bedrooms, a large sitting area, balcony and hot tubs. All of the treehouses – bar Dove which can only be booked in its entirety – can also be booked as a two bedroom apartment and one bedroom studio.

 

The hotel also has four glass fronted A frame treehouses which are perfect for couples.
