PARADE BRINGS THE SPIRIT OF CARNIVAL TO SOUTH TYNESIDE…
FORGET Rio, New Orleans and Sydney – the real spirit of carnival is to be found in South Tyneside this summer after an absence of more than two years.
The renamed This Is South Tyneside Festival is back with a vengeance between June and August and at its heart is its all singing, all dancing carnival parade on Saturday 2 July.
BRIGHTER DAYS FESTIVAL HUGE PHASE ONE LINEUP REVEAL
Brighter Days Festival are making their highly anticipated debut at Sunderlands Herrington Park for 2022, taking place throughout the day and long into the night of Friday the 8th of July, and they’ve just proudly unveiled the incredible first phase of the lineup for the day itself.
PREVIEW: THE SOLO COLLECTIVE – DIGITAL PREMIERE
Dance City are inviting you to join them for the premiere of an exciting new digital work on Thursday 27 August. ‘The Solo Collective’, created by their post graduate company The Collective, will be accompanied by an introduction by David Lloyd and a post-show discussion with performers and contributing choreographers led by Dance City’s new Artistic Director and CEO Anand Bhatt. Tickets are free!
